Family

For better or worse, family is a priority to Frank. Frank has 2 families he considers: one with his daughter and one he was born into.

Spychaj's

Yeah, his birth family. There were 6 members in this family, including Frank and his parents. Frank was the oldest of the children. The Spychaj's lived nearly 30 years in Colorado, and almost all of them called Ft. Collins their birth city.

Joan and Fran, the parents, have spent all their years laboring with jobs and family in Colorado. They've recently moved on to Central Kentucky in late 2008/early 2009 for what they call 'better pasture'.

Margaret, has been serving time in the US Navy since she turned 18. Currently, she is a recruiter. She's currently married, and with 2 dogs.

Robert, the 3rd, and middle child, has gone through some testy times. Problems in early 2009 caused rife between him and other family members that he claims to 'disown' the family, and some hate him. But he remains part of the family.

Lori, the youngest, is arguably the most successful of the family. At the time of this writing (2009-07-07), she will be a newlywed within a week.

Extended family

Aunts, uncles, and cousins were unfortunately separated from the family for the entire time due to the long distance. Most of them did not pursue active communication either.

Most of the grandparents had limited or no contact with the family, as most died before 1989. The only grandparent who showed interest was Joan's mother, Betty. Betty eventually moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado in 1989. She was a spiritual person, and was a strong-willed individual, which helped her survive several health accidents. Unfortunately, a stroke on April 17, 2008 proved to be the mortal blow. But even in the final days, she lived long enough to see her grandson Frank come back to her bedside. Betty has always viewed Frank as her savior after her husband passed away in 1980. Betty, rest in peace.

Missing?

Helena, who is supposed to be part of Frank's immediate family. However, differences between him and her has unfortunately caused a rift, and now a split. At this time, she gets no more credit other than the mother of Melody, and any credits on the legal rights page.
